Do you know what day it is today?
Celebrating my son’s 29th Birthday today! ❤️ 🎂 🥳 The new daddy to my 1st Grandchild born last week! #icymi See post of January 26th! You will notice it because of my radiant smile! 😃 It’s as bright as our glorious yellow sunshine outside in that clear blue sky! ☀️ 🌌 You can enjoy celebrating National Carrot Cake Day! February 3, 2021 You can bake a carrot cake, you can plant carrots in your garden (easy to grow...I will soon) or you can buy a cake and support your local #smallbusiness The French were 1st in 1827, the earliest known recipe for carrot cake was published in Britain - in a French cookbook. Go figure. Yes, you can pair carrot cake with your tea. It’s not usually the first treat that comes to mind when you think of tea pairing. When enjoying your tea, your first savoury course will pair well with teas different from those that go well with desserts. You can switch your tea flavours depending on the course, if you choose. Ceylon tea is an excellent match for fruit cakes, carrot cake, gingerbread, lemon cake, and scones with jam and cream. Back teas, dark Oolongs, Darjeeling Second Flush, Keemun and Russian Caravan are good with nuts and spices and pair well with cheesecake, carrot cake, tiramisu, and creamy pastries. Try balancing the naturally complex flavours of earthy cooked Pu-erhs and Oolongs with dark chocolate. (one of the delectable treats and delicious flavours you can savour in a #teabox) A few reasons to love Carrot Cake:
“The World’s Best Carrot Cake!” Layers of delicious, moist flavours filled with coconut, crushed pineapple, spices, nuts and of course, carrots! You will improve your sight and overall health while sipping your tea or coffee and experiencing the taste! YUMMY This recipe makes a fabulous and moist carrot cake! 🤤 You can also make this into cupcakes.
