Tips for your next Garden Party.
Your “Al Fresco” event; Afternoon Tea, Garden Party or Picnic in the Park “ is a relatively low risk during the pandemic. What better time for you to be together and apart, with your friends, for some fun, food and laughter outside! You want to be outdoors in your backyard, the park or the beach especially now that summer is almost here! Imagine the fun you will have while enjoying delicious food. A great spot for a picnic with your special people is usually your backyard, patio or park. You can contact some local venues such as a farm or floral gardens. If you will choose a park, be sure you stake and measure your space. (safe, social-distancing) You can bring separate blankets, pillows, and chairs. Plan a fresh, seasonal menu. Check out local delis and restaurants who can prepare special orders for you according to your taste and budget. Plan ahead by buying and/or ordering individually-wrapped foods, or pack your own food in containers, so you prevent potential contamination. Bring hand sanitizer to ensure everyone’s safety. Stay hydrated. Cold beverages and picnics go together. Bring along some fruit-infused water or a bottle of bubbly. It will be a perfect accompaniment to a summer graze box. Pay attention to detail; it enhances your atmosphere. You can make it as fancy or as simple as you choose. A great way to add flair is to choose a pretty blanket, or more, a tablecloth, a picnic basket; vintage accoutrements for a unique touch, and fresh flowers. You can add some wooden crates, small outdoor furniture, hang a few pretty items in nearby trees or shrubs or drape over your furniture. Even if you choose only flowers for decor, your setting will be beautiful! Do you love having fun outdoors? What are your favourite things about a party or picnic?
