Welcome to the Blog
Happy new week to you! Monday musings. 😊
A beautiful day to wake up to sunshine and clear(er) skies! A bright and happy morning! (well it was when I went to work this morning. 😉 Much later on the #gram today. Now to complete writing for the blog and today’s post) 💻 Not judging myself. 😉 “Don’t judge each day by the harvest you reap but by the seeds that you plant.” - Robert Louis Stevenson (1850 - 1894) Scottish essayist, novelist, poet, fiction and travel writer. Whether it’s sunny or rainy outside; you can choose to be positive and motivated! You can’t control your external environment although you can control how you respond to it. Your negative self-talk can easily derail you from what you’re capable of and what your purpose is. You may have noticed last Friday’s post about mental health; scroll down a wee bit and read it. Countless times my state of mind and self-talk was negative and didn’t help me “grow” personally and professionally. It made me “fall” 😂 (pun intended) 😉 I doubted myself and had bouts of imposter syndrome. You too? It wasn’t conducive to a growth mindset nor reaping results. When I learned to change my thoughts, practiced speaking truth and kindness to myself; when I leaned into what I knew my talents and gifts of serving and encouraging others were and are; when I applied what I knew in my heart to my everyday life, in all areas of my life; I experienced a healthy state of mind, peace and joy. You can experience contagious joy as you cultivate, prune and reap the rewards! You can change your thoughts.Think about what you’re thinking about. Notice how and what you are feeling, emotionally, and physically. Look inside, listen and be self-aware. Speak encouragement to yourself and others. What do you do to be kind to your mind and to yourself? How do you “grow” in your life? Tell us your tips on sowing, growing and reaping! Tap that comment “button” and start typing! ⬇️ 👇 📱 “It’s only after you’ve stepped outside of your comfort zone that you begin to change, grow and transform.” - Roy T.
