Welcome to the Blog
Happy Friday! Fri-Yay! 😃
When you have your finger on your mouse and at the exact moment you're going to upload your post, photos and work you’ve been working on most of the morning and then… BAM! Your power goes out! @#%^&!! No! Grr! What do you do? You gotta get @#&* done! If you live on a farm, you also have no water, since you’re on a well. Now what?? When you plan things and they don’t go as you planned and worked for. You can fret, (Mea Culpa, I admit I did for a few minutes) worry, say a bad word or three, and be disappointed; like I was bummed! You can accept what you can’t control, you can change your thinking, you can change your plans, take a different route, change directions and yeah, you can smile. Yeah I know; easier said than done. Yet, SO worth it! You think you’re behind, when you’re really ahead. After giving yourself a little pep-talk, you hop in your truck and drive to Fort Langley for an afternoon of #metime You thoroughly enjoy the bright, hot and sunny afternoon; perfect for going for a walk, having lunch and sitting in the park, gazing at the blue sky, the river and the flora all around. You think to yourself, this is the bright side of no power, no water, no internet. (and being the boss) You can take time off, relax, ponder and fill your soul with the beauty of nature and your mind with healthy thoughts. When you walk, you clear your mind, you see the world in a different light and your soul is enriched. Your brain gets a well-needed break being in nature, your stress level is reduced, your memory and immune system is strengthened and your mental health is improved and you are happier. “In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks.” - John Muir “Life is like a cup of tea, it’s all in how you make it.” What do you do when things don’t go as you planned? How have you dealt with things that didn’t work out for you? Do you like walking? Alone or with friends? Happy Trails to you! Share your answers, thoughts and feelings in the comments below! 😊 😃 ❤️ 💗 💝 🎁 🍵 ☕️ 🍰 🧁 🚶♀️ 🌸 🌺 🌹 🪴 🌱 🌿 🌳 🌊 P.S. As I was writing this, it happened again!!! Internet down!! Therefore the delay in this morning’s post! #tea #afternoontea #teatime #alwaystimefortea #thetealady #spreadingjoy #metime #taketimeforyou #friday #fridaymotivation #fridaymood #fridayvibes #celebratethespecialmoments #thingsdontalwaysgoasplanned #attitudeiseverything #positivemindset #goforawalk #getoutsideandplay #walking #givingback #gifts #womenempoweringwomen #womeninbusiness #smallbusinessowner #supportsmallbusiness #bossladies #fraservalley #fortlangley #yvr #vancouver #vancouverrealestate 📷 @signature_experience_events 📷 @thetealadyrita
