What goals were you slaying this past week? Working, creating, gathering, planning, connecting, sending, learning? Name them...there are more! You have those moments of tediousness too don’t you?! 😑 You probably need rest and #metime Do you sometimes forget to take time for yourself, because you’re busy managing your life, family, and business? While it is beneficial to continually pursue professional development along with personal growth, remember it is also in your best interest to take time for yourself. Your morale, self-awareness, belief in yourself, your overall health increases and you will feel better so you can do the things you need and want to! 11 kinds of rest for your “me-time”... Alone time at home Alone time away from home (yes!) Solitude to recharge A rest from responsibilities A safe place to pray and meditate Time in Nature Read something inspiring Light a candle (or more) Permission to not be helpful Write your thoughts Go for a walk, dance or workout (ok, so it’s not physical rest, though it’s an energy-giver which will make you feel rested and fabulous!) Do you practice these? How do you feel when you’ve taken time for yourself? Better frame of mind, more relaxed and rejuvenated right?
